Job Description:Do you love the water? Do you love working outside no matter the weather? We’re looking for an adventurous, resourceful person to join our team at Lake Union Hot Tub Boats! We are a hot tub boat rental company located on the north end of Lake Union. We are a small family-owned company looking for a part-time employee to help us with our rental operations.
Job title: Crew member: Hot tub boat operations and guest experience.
Duties include:Providing excellent customer service, including welcoming guests, delivering safety speeches, and teaching guests how to operate the hot tub boats.Cleaning and preparing hot tub boats, changing rooms, and other materials for rental use.Restocking supplies and materials for hot tub boat operations, including firewood, propane, water, and fresh towels.Answering the phones to respond to customer requests and assist with scheduling.Other duties may be assigned.
Required Education/Training:High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications:Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysAt least 3 days a week (20+).Must love the water and working outside in all types of weather.Comfortable interacting with guests.Patience with co-workers and most importantly, guests.Able to clearly communicate with a range of people/learning styles.Must know how to swim.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in the customer service industry.Previous experience working outside or in manual labor positions.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 25+ pounds.Must be able to work outside in any weather condition.Must be able to stand and squat for extended periods of time
Compensation & benefits:Starting hourly wage of $20 to $22 per hour depending on qualifications.Medical/dental insurance is covered 100% after 30 days for employees who work 20+ hours/week.
